- Why were so many people upset by Gawker outing a top Conde Nast executive?
The gossipy blogging site Gawker has a long history of outing gay people (or at least people who have had gay sex). This is particularly peculiar given that the site’s founder and CEO is a gay man. But why did the story the site first posted and then took down attract so much attention? It may be because the person who was outed was not someone who had a history of gay baiting. It may be that people are just tired of Gawker outing people. Or it could be that the story was just awfully mean spirited. In an odd conclusion – two Gawker editors resigned over the site taking down the story. - What does Instagram have against sexy photos of plus-sized women?
