- What happened to the missing 18 minutes of the Lost finale on Netflix?
The version of the controversial Lost finale currently streaming on Netflix is missing 18 minutes scattered throughout the episode, and show runner Damon Lindelof wants those minutes back. It doesn’t appear there’s any sort of conspiracy of cuts to appease those who hated the ending (For the record: I loved it.). The more likely explanation is that the version up on Netflix was cut to allow for more commercial time in reruns or for foreign markets.
